Spring Replacement

Garage door springs carry the weight of the door - often hundreds of pounds. When a spring snaps, the door will not lift properly and can become unsafe. We replace torsion and extension springs and set the balance so the door opens and closes as it should. Do not attempt spring repair yourself; the stored energy can cause serious injury.

Typical signs: Door will not open, sudden bang from the garage, door feels extremely heavy, or the door only moves a few inches.

Garage Door Opener Service

If the opener hums, clicks, or will not run, we diagnose the motor, gears, rail, remotes, and photo-eye sensors. We repair working units when it makes sense and install a replacement when the opener is worn out. We also reset force and travel so the door reverses on obstruction - a basic safety check after any opener work.

Typical signs: Remote does nothing, door opens but will not close, opener light blinks, grinding noise from the motor, or the door stops halfway.

Cable & Roller Service

Cables work with the springs to lift the door. If a cable frays or slips off the drum, the door can sit crooked or drop on one side. Worn rollers and hinges add noise and extra strain. We replace cables, rollers, and related hardware and realign the door so it travels evenly in the tracks.

Typical signs: Uneven door, grinding or popping while moving, visible frayed cable, or a door that sits off-level when closed.

New Garage Door Installation

A worn door wastes heat, looks tired, and can be harder to balance. We remove the old door and install a new residential garage door, then set springs, cables, tracks, and weather seals. Better insulation and a tight bottom seal help in Edmonton winters. We explain the options on site and quote before we start.

Typical signs: Dented or rotting panels, a door that no longer seals, poor insulation, or a full replacement after a failed repair.

Safety Inspections

A garage door that looks fine can still be out of balance or have sensors that no longer reverse the door. We inspect springs, cables, rollers, tracks, the opener, photo eyes, and weather stripping. You get a clear list of what is safe now and what should be repaired - without pressure to buy extras you do not need.

Typical signs: Door slams shut, reverses for no reason, gaps at the bottom in winter, or you want a check before a problem strands the car.

Smart Garage Access & Controls

Upgrade your existing garage door opener with smart controls, keypads and Wi-Fi access. Open, close and monitor your garage door directly from your phone. We can add smart access to a regular opener you already have - you do not need a brand-new door.

Typical signs: You want phone control, a keypad backup, or to see if the door is open when you are away.
